Dr. Falcao graduated from Dow Medical College and completed general surgery internships in Canada, New York, and Baltimore. After finishing his surgical residency at St. Agnes Hospital, Dr. Falcao established Maryland Surgeons in 1979 with offices in Baltimore County and Howard County. Dr. Falcao is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His achievements include the introduction of colonoscopy to the Department of Surgery at St. Agnes Hospital and performing the first laparoscopic cholecystectomy at Howard County General Hospital in 1990. At St. Agnes Hospital, he currently serves as the Director of the Hernia Center and is active in training General Surgery residents.
