Dr. Watnick joined Bloomfield Dermatology in 1992. She is a board-certified dermatologist on staff at William Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. Dr. Watnick graduated with honors from the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed her dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital where she was chief resident in her final year. She was on staff at Henry Ford Hospital for six years, where she was the director of the West Bloomfield Dermatology Clinic. Dr. Watnick practices general and pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic dermatology. She has a particular interest in skin cancer and challenging dermatologic conditions including severe psoriasis and severe cystic acne. her practice, Dr. Watnick has teaching and consultation responsibilities at William Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. Dr Watnick is president of the Michigan Dermatological Society and is past chairperson of the Legislative Committee. She is a member of the Oakland County and Michigan State Medical Societies, the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr Watnick has been instrumental in the passage of Tanning parlor legislation in Michigan requiring parental consent for minors to use tanning beds.
