I was born and raised in Nairobi and Kenya, and came to the Pacific Northwest for college and graduate work. I have lived here for almost 30 years. My husband and I have two handsome boys aged 10 and 15. I come from a family of clinicians, and have always had an interest in the medical field. I am fluent in Swahili, Punjabi, and Hindi as well as English.
