Dr. Sachar is dedicated to physician and medical professional education. He has served as an Associate Editor for the prestigious Journal of Hand Surgery since 2001. He has given numerous invited national and local presentations. Recent national conferences include lectures at " The Comprehensive Review Course in Hand Surgery " in Chicago, Illinois and lectures at the "AO Hand and Upper Extremity Course" in Phoenix, Arizona. He has additionally given Instructional Course Lectures at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting on the topics "Flexor Tendon Injuries" and " Ulnar Sided Wrist Pain." Dr. Sachar recently published an article in the Journal of Hand Surgery entitled:" Ulnar Sided Wrist Pain: Evaluation and Treatment of TFCC tears, Ulnocarpal Impaction Syndrome and LT Ligament Tears." He has numerous other publications in peer review journals. Dr. Sachar's special interests include Sports related injuries, Elbow arthroscopy, Elbow replacement and reconstruction (" Tommy John" surgery), fractures of the distal radius and hand, carpal tunnel syndrome, and complex reconstructive upper extremity conditions.
