Dr. Karissa Ellis, DO, is a dedicated pediatrician born and raised in Indiana. Within her educational pursuits, she first acquired dual associate degrees in chemistry and psychology and a biology degree from Purdue University. She then earned her doctor of osteopathy degree at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. Specializing in primary care pediatrics, Dr. Ellis appreciates the magical and humorous perspective that children have on the world, making each day in pediatrics a unique and rewarding experience. Beyond medicine, she explores nature with her teen daughter, sharing a passion for rehabilitating animals. She also enjoys photography, reading, crafting, and international travel.
