Dr. Gautham Reddy is an expert in liver diseases including viral hepatitis, cirrhosis and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). He is also a specialist in general gastroenterology and endoscopy.Dr. Reddy's research includes the treatment of hepatitis C in special populations. He is an investigator in several clinical trials testing combinations of novel medications for hepatitis B and hepatitis C. Dr. Reddy also conducts clinical research exploring the treatment and outcomes of patients with NASH. Additionally, he serves as associate program director for the gastroenterology and transplant hepatology training programs at the University of Chicago.
