I grew up in California with Kaiser Permanente caring for many of my own family members. After finishing medical school in San Diego, I trained in general surgery for two years. After that, I trained for four years in emergency medicine at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. I've worked in many different emergency departments in the Northeast, Louisiana, the Northwest, and Los Angeles prior to working at Kaiser Permanente.
