Brief Intro

I was born and raised in a bi-lingual household, the son of Cuban immigrants. I grew up dreaming of one day becoming a doctor. Once in medical school my passion for orthopedic surgery came to life and I was fortunate to be accepted for my surgical training at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic. While at Mayo Clinic, I was exposed to many cutting edge techniques in the field of spine surgery that piqued my interest in the specialty. I furthered my training as a fellow in spine surgery at the Ortho Carolina Spine Center in Charlotte, NC. I have since established my own private practice in my hometown of Miami, FL with the aim of providing excellent, compassionate, and state-of-the-art care in spinal medicine and surgical treatment to my patients.
