Joseph Kalani Ahlo, D.M.D. Dr. Joseph Kalani Ahlo obtained his Periodontic specialization from Columbia University after completing his General Practice Residency from Long Island Jewish Medical Center and his D.M.D. from Tufts University. After receiving the prestigious Melvin Morris Fellowship Award and the Bark Scholarship during his time at Columbia he was invited to become a clinical instructor of Periodontics at the university. He has completed published research on dental implant success rates and analysis of gingival crevicular fluid as applied to the diagnosis of oral and systemic disease.
