Dr. Portale graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1972. He has since become a fellow and master of the American Academy of General Dentistry, an award given to less than 1% of dentists across the country. He has also been on the medical teaching staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for around seven years.
Dr. Portale continues to educate himself in a variety of dental areas, such as periodontal and endodontic dentistry, cosmetic practices, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry. His oral surgery focuses include extractions, impacted teeth, implant placement and grafting.
