Jorge Hurtado-Cordovi, MD, is a medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in Indian River. He provides treatment for all forms of cancer and blood disorders, with a special interest in colorectal cancers. He has been active in clinical trial research and is co-author of several published, peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Hurtado-Cordovi received his medical degree from St. George’s University. He completed internal medicine residency training at Nassau University Medical Center and a fellowship in oncology/hematology at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. Previously, he served as an attending hematology/oncology physician at several hospital systems along Florida’s east coast.
