Dr. Kim is a board certified Urologist who received his medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 1991. He completed a surgical internship and residency there in 1993 before moving to West Virginia University Hospital, where he completed his residency in urology in 1997. He has been in practice in Dover, DE, since July 1997. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Kim's areas of special interest include minimally invasive treatment of kidney stone disease (laser lithotripsy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, and ESWL) and urologic oncology (prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers). Other areas of focus include vasectomy/vasectomy reversal and minimally invasive treatment of BPH with Microwave Thermotherapy and Indigo Laser treatment.
