Brief Intro

Dr. Joni M. Richmond graduated from the University of Iowa School of Dentistry in 2000 and obtained a Certificated in Pediatric Dentistry from the Children's Hospital of Buffalo New York in 2002. Dr. Richmond is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is currently pursuing board Certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is on the Scientific Sessions Committee for the Minnesota Dental Association and is active in the American Dental Association. She is also the Past president of the Minnesota Academy of Pediatric Dentists. Dr. Richmond has previously taught at the University of Minnesota in the pediatric dental department. In 2008, the MDA honored Dr. Richmond with the New Dentist Leadership Award. An active volunteer, she participates in the February ADA Give Kids a Smile day to advocate for dental health care for every child. As another part of that mission, she travels to the African Country of Uganda each winter as part of the African Christian Fellowship to treat pediatric patients. Dr. Richmond resides in Minneapolis.
