Brief Intro

John Sharp, DPM, FACFAS, ABFAS, is a board-certified orthopedist and a fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Sharp sees patients for all foot and ankle conditions with an emphasis on trauma, reconstructive surgery and bunion surgery. He strives to provide personalized care by carefully listening and collaborating on individualized courses of treatment, whether that includes surgery, palliative management, or conservative care. Dr. Sharp’s call to surgery is driven by a passion for hands-on problem-solving and a desire to directly impact patients’ lives. The challenging and dynamic nature of surgical procedures, technical skills, and contributing to medical science are what drive him. Dr. Sharp received his medical training at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and his undergraduate degree from Indiana University. He completed a surgical residency at Westview Hospital in Indiana. He is a certified diplomate in foot and rearfoot/ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Outside of family and work, Dr. Sharp’s interests include mountain biking, road biking and hiking. He likes to stay active and connected with nature while traveling and is passionate about adventure and discovering diverse cultures.
