Brief Intro

Dr. Silverton grew up in England He graduated from Medical School in London. He trained in General Surgery, and then specialized in Plastic Surgery in London, Aylesbury and Glasgow. He finished his Plastic Surgery training at Emory University in Atlanta. He is doubly trained in both the United Kingdom and the United States. He spent two years on the teaching faculty at the University of California at Davis in the Department of Plastic Surgery serving as Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery. He has published a Plastic Surgery textbook and a number of scientific papers. He was Chief of Surgery at Dameron Hospital in Stockton for six years. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and also a member of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons. He started his private practice in Stockton, California in 1979. Dr. Silverton specializes in cosmetic surgery pf the breast, implants, lifts, reductions and cosmetic surgery of the abdomen with tummy tucks, mini tucks, liposuction and liposuction abdominoplasties.
