Since the mid-seventies, Dr. Heyer has been treating patients of all ages as their family medicine physician. He believes in spending quality time with each patient and being as accessible to them as possible, working them in for appointments in a timely manner.
Dr. Heyer received his medical degree from the University of Washington Medical School in Seattle and came to Phoenix to complete a three-year combined family practice residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. He has been involved in several local leadership positions, serving as president of the Arizona Academy of Family Medicine and of the Maricopa County Medical Society, as well as chief of staff of Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and as chairman of its credentials committee. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
