Brief Intro

My father, John L. Clayton, MD, was one of the first plastic surgeons in Utah. My brother David and I became plastic surgeons, and our little brother became an anesthesiologist. From 1981 to 2010, Clayton Plastic Surgery was one of the premier groups of plastic surgeons in Utah, and until our father retired in 1997, was the largest family group of plastic surgeons practicing together in the United States. In July of 2010, Clayton Plastic Surgery joined with Intermountain Healthcare to become Alta View Plastic Surgery Specialists. We now provide a complete range of plastic surgery services including Cosmetic and Aesthetic Surgery, Surgery of the Hand, Reconstructive Surgery, Skin Cancer Surgery, and Pediatric Plastic Surgery. We also provide emergency care for lacerations and other complex injuries in our office procedure rooms at the Alta View Specialty Center.
