He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Union County Medical Society, American Red Cross-Raritan Valley Chapter, and New Jersey Medical Society. Dr. Tabachnick has been Chairman of the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians Education Committee and Chairman of the American Red Cross Westfield/Mountainside Chapter. He is a recipient of the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians Physician of the Year Award. He is listed in Castle Connolly's "America's Top Doctors."
