John E. Sherman, MD is board certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (1989) and the American Board of Spinal Surgery (1998). He recertified in 1998 and 2004, respectively. Dr. Sherman majored in chemistry at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. He completed residencies in general surgery and orthopedic surgery at the University of Minnesota and thereafter, he underwent a fellowship in the Department of Orthopedics at UCLA in Los Angeles, CA. His special interests include comprehensive care of spinal problems.
