Dr. Taylor's career with Eastover OB/GYN began in July 1982 upon completion of his residency at Charlotte Memorial Hospital (now Carolinas Medical Center). His journey into medicine began at Hampden-Sydney College, VA., where he graduated in 1974. Four short years later, he received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, his hometown. Since 1982, Dr. Taylor has enjoyed the camaraderie and satisfaction of patient care while practicing in obstetrics and gynecology. His special interests include high-risk obstetrics, benign gynecology, and infertility. As his patient population continues to mature, Dr. Taylor has been fortunate to deliver children of multiple generations in the same family, which is a continuity of care that is rare today. Dr. Taylor and his wife, Karen, are the proud parents of two adults, Lauren, married to Mike, and Evan, a 2008 graduate of Wake Forest University. They are also enjoying the latest addition to their family, grandson Carter.
