Dr. Nolan, a Mechanicville native, has been practicing Cardiology in Schenectady since 1983. He is one of the founding members of Cardiology Associates of Schenectady and has been president of the group since its inception. As president, the group has grown from the original 9 members and one office to 22 physicians in 6 offices. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Siena College and Cum Laude from Albany Medical College where he was elected to the National Medical Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Nolan served his internship, residency and fellowship at Albany Medical College. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the New York State Chapter. Dr. Nolan is currently chief of Cardiology and chief of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of the Ellis Hospital and was formerly Medical Director of the Ellis Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Lab from 1984-1993. He was instrumental in the development of the Cardiac Surgery Program at Ellis Hospital. He is a member of the Schenectady County Medical Society. He and his wife have five children and live in Niskayuna. His interests include skiing and golf.
