John A. King, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon with Orthopaedic Associates of the Lakelands, a physician practice of Self Regional Healthcare. Dr. King received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C., and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. He completed his residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, Ga., and completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in hand surgery. Dr. King grew up in Orangeburg, S.C. His personal interests include biking, hiking and spending time with his family.
