Graduated from the University of Chicago and received his doctorate from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine. He completed his internship and anesthesia residency at The John Hopkins Hospital. Dr Salamon then received his fellowship training in pain management at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation
Dr. Salamon is board certified in anesthesiology with ABA subspecialty certification in pain management, as well as board certification in pain management from the American Board of Pain Medicine. In 2004 and 2006, Dr. Salamon was nominated for the Florida Choice Award, recognizing excellence in workers compensation medical care.
Dr. Salamon is well-versed in the full range of pain management care. He specializes in interventional procedure, including epidural steroid injections, facet injections, sympathetic blocks, radiofrequency/neuroablative procedures, and intra-discal procedures. Dr. Salamon has a special interest in spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal drug delivery, and has served as an instructor for the Medtronic Corporation to teach these procedures to other physicians.
