Brief Intro

Dr. Stewart received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the United States Naval Academy, and his medical degree at Harvard Medical School. He trained in orthopaedics at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. Dr. Stewart completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, Florida. His current practice involves sports injuries, as well as major trauma patients from the ongoing war on terrorism. January 2006, Dr. Stewart joined with Virginia Institute for Sports Medicine, allowing him to use his expertise in the treatment and care of patients in our area. Dr. Stewart was born in Fargo, North Dakota on 10-29-67. He is married to wife, Robin and together they manage to take care of a barn full of horses, in addition to dogs, cats, birds and many other animals in need. Dr. Stewart enjoys participating in Biathalons and Tiathalons
