Dr. Yan is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine. He is a member of American Society of Nephrology and Renal Physician Association. He completed his undergraduate education in at McMaster University in Canada and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He completed his Master degree at Cornell University Graduate School of Medical Science (currently Weill Medical College of Cornell University). His medical education, internship, residency and fellowship were all completed at Stanford University Medical Center. He has published articles in both basic science and clinical medicine journals.
