medical director of the Medical Acute Care Unit at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center. A pulmonologist, Dr. Slate helped establish and previously ran the MACU's Complex Pulmonary Disease and Ventilator Program. A graduate of the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, he completed his internship and residency at Boston City Hospital and a fellowship in pulmonary disease at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School.
