Jeffrey R. Ridha, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a double board-certified plastic surgeon in practice in Saratoga Springs, NY. Dr. Ridha was born in Ohio, and grew up both in the Midwest and abroad, living for six years in Luxembourg. Dr. Ridha completed his undergraduate degree and medical education at the prestigious six-year combined B.S./M.D. program of Kent State University and Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Ridha completed a five-year general surgery residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (Cabrini) program in Manhattan. During this time, he received numerous awards, including being named intern of the year and valedictorian of his graduating class. Dr. Ridha then completed his plastic surgical training at the highly regarded program of the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group/Nassau University Medical Center. Dr. Ridha has experience treating patients with a broad range of cosmetic and reconstructive concerns. His special areas of interest include: facial aesthetics, breast surgery and body contouring, as well as hand and facial trauma. Dr. Ridha is strongly committed to the principles of education, research and service in plastic surgery. He has written numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals, including The Journal of Hand Surgery, and has presented his research at local, regional and national meetings. Dr. Ridha has also traveled to underserved countries on surgical missions to provide much-needed care for children with cleft lip/palate and other congenital anomalies. Dr. Ridha is an active member on the surgical staff of Saratoga Hospital, Saratoga Ambulatory Surgical Center, Glens Falls Hospital, and Albany Medical Center. He also maintains privileges at New York Downtown Hospital in Manhattan. Dr. Ridha is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
