Brief Intro

I offer my patients the "specialty" of my breadth of knowledge. I strive to be a physician who practices common-sense medicine. I listen with compassion. I am always willing to search out answers to questions that I may not be able to answer immediately and fully. My assumption is that the patients in my office are not there to have me "give them health care;" rather, I assume that each one is there to receive the best, knowledgeable, compassionate advice from me regarding how he/she should manage his/her own health. The best preparation is to think through the answer to the question, "What is it that I most need during this visit, and why have I come?" Additionally, it is very helpful to bring bottles of current prescription medicines, information on known health problems, etc. The better prepared the patient is, the more I can help him or her. On my part, I will strive to listen well, serve humbly, and to provide up-to-date knowledgeable and advice.
