Jeffrey C. Mai, MD, PhD, is a cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgeon at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Associate Professor at the Georgetown University Department of Neurosurgery. He is one of the few dual fellowship-trained vascular neurosurgeons in the country, specializing in cerebrovascular disorders, such as stroke, aneurysm, brain and spinal arteriovenous malformations, cavernous malformations, skull base tumors, and spinal disorders. “Being specialty trained both in open microsurgical cerebrovascular approaches and minimally invasive endovascular techniques affords me a unique perspective.
