Jay Michael Kincannon, M.D. is a staff physician and Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Chief of Pediatric Dermatology at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Dr. Kincannon graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Zoology in 1980 from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences before moving to Denver, Colorado where he completed his pediatric residency and dermatology residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Kincannon received board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1989 and by the American Board of Dermatology in 1993. Dr. Kincannon is a member of the Joint AAD/ Pediatric Dermatology Liaison Committee, the American Academy of Dermatology (Advisory Board Representative 1997-present), the Pediatric Dermatology Society, and the American Medical Association. He is the 1997 president of the Arkansas Dermatological Society. Dr. Kincannon's clinical and research interest include vascular and pigmented birthmarks, human papilloma virus immunotherapy, vitiligo and cutaneous laser therapy.
