Dr. Rexroth, M.D., grew up in Burlington, Iowa. He attended Simpson College graduating with a Biology & German major and Chemistry minor. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Iowa. After completing 1 year of General Surgery in Spartanburg, South Carolina, 4 years of OB Gyn Residency at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia was completed. Dr. Rexroth returned to Iowa to join the practice in 2003. He and his wife Teri (a hand therapist) have 3 children. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding as well as reading & spending time with his family. Professionally, he specializes in pelvic reconstruction. His interests also include advancing minimally invasive surgery, and he performs many surgical procedures in the office. He was the first doctor at each hospital in Cedar Rapids to do Robotic procedures.
