Dr. Kastner was raised in Manhattan, Kansas. He attended college at Kansas State University and medical school at the University of Kansas, graduating in 1998. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Children's Hospital and served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics from 2001 - 2002. He served as clinical faculty at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is married with two daughters.
