Jaroslaw T. Hepel, M.D. joined the faculty at Women & Infants Hospital in the summer of 2010. He is an assistant professor in the department of radiation oncology at Brown University and adjunct assistant professor at Tufts University. He is board certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology and in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He currently serves as director of the Rhode Island Hospital Stereotactic Radiotherapy and Radiosurgery Program and is associate director of the Tufts-Affiliated Hospitals Residency Training Program in radiation oncology. He holds a particular clinical interest and expertise in the treatment of breast cancer and in stereotactic radiosurgery for diseases involving the brain, spine, lung, liver and other sites. He is also active in research aimed at improving treatments and outcomes for these patients.
