Brief Intro

Dr. Jared Brown is a native of Utah and a proud graduate of the University of Utah, where he earned a bachelor of arts in Medical Biology. Upon finishing his degree in 2003, Dr. Brown moved his small family (wife and 10-month-old daughter) to Omaha, Nebraska, to attend Creighton University. While at Creighton, Dr. Brown participated in multiple Oral Surgical externships which took him to the University of Texas and the University of Nebraska. He graduated cum laude with his DDS in 2006 from Creighton University and was honored to be inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Brown began his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency with the University of Nebraska Medical Center immediately following graduation in 2006. He completed his medical degree with the University of Nebraska Medical School and graduated in 2009. During his five years of residency, he completed a one-year general surgery internship with rotations in Neurosurgery, Head and Neck Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Trauma, and Critical Care Medicine. He also completed an extensive one-year training in Anesthesia, including local, IV, and inhalational techniques. In 2011 he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program with extensive training and experience in dental and implant reconstruction surgery, orthognathic (jaw) surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders and surgery, benign tumors of the jaw, facial trauma, alveolar cleft, and facial cosmetics. Dr. Brown was recognized for his exceptional bedside manner and overall treatment of patients while in residency and continues to provide superior care for his patients and their families. Dr. Brown is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He is also an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Utah Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
