Dr. Hershenson received his medical degree at the Washington University School of Medicine in Missouri. He completed his pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins University, and his pediatric cardiology fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital and Ohio State University.
Dr. Hershenson is board certified in pediatrics and board eligible for pediatric cardiology. He is a member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
His clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of heart disease in the fetus, child and adolescent, with a focus on non-invasive imaging including echocardiography and fetal echocardiography, as well as exercise physiology. He has a number of publications pertaining to his research of echocardiographic assessment of ventricular function in single ventricle patients.
Dr. Hershenson enjoys spending free time with his wife and children.
