Randy Woodson grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, where he attended First Presbyterian Day School and Jackson Preparatory School. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and a DMD from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. Upon graduation in 2001, he was employed by University Medical Center as a staff dentist at the correctional facility at Parchman. In addition, he established a private clinic in Ruleville, MS. In 2006, Dr. Woodson returned home to open a family practice in Jackson.
