Dr. Gill, a board-certified family physician for over 19 years, is co-owner of Family Medicine at Greenhill. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and his Masters degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at the Medical Center of Delaware (now Christiana Care Health System). Dr. Gill holds a number of state and national leadership positions including serving on the Board of Trustees for the Christiana Care Health System and the Medical Society of Delaware and on the Board of Directors for the Delaware Academy of Family Physicians, as well as serving on the Commission of Health of the Public and Science for the American Academy of Family Physicians. He was the recipient of the 2009 Delaware Family Physician of the Year Award and the 2009 Local Medical Champion Award from Delaware Covering Kids and Families.
practicing family medicine, Dr. Gill conducts research on a state and national level to measure and improve quality of medical care. He has over 60 publications in national medical journals and has received numerous national and international awards for his research. He also teaches students and residents in medicine and other health professions, and is on the faculty of the Jefferson College of Medicine and the University of Delaware. Dr. Gill enjoys working with patients of all ages with a special interest in the care of newborns, children and teenagers.
