By educating my patients about the various treatment options available, I can help them choose the one that’s best for them based on their needs. In 1973, I received my M.D. from the University of Iowa. I completed my internship and residency in Orthopaedics at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. In addition to being Board Certified in Orthopaedics, I'm a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. My special interests include adult spinal surgery and rehabilitation, hip and knee reconstruction, arthritis surgery, lumbar spine disorders and industrial back disorders.
