Brief Intro

James G. Grattan, M.D., FACC, has been a part of Cardiologists of Lubbock since September 1, 1997. He graduated from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, and received his medical degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York in 1975. He completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Grattan is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology. He is Board certified in Adult Echocardiography, and has received a Special Competency in Echocardiography from the American Society of Echocardiography. Dr. Grattan is currently a member of the active staff at Lubbock Heart Hospital, Covenant Health System and University Medical Center. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Dr. Grattan currently serves on the Credentials Committee at Covenant Medical Center. His professional associations include the American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Lubbock-Crosby-Garza County Medical Society, and the American Heart Association.
