About Dr. Meadows Dr. James Meadows was born and raised in Southeastern Idaho. He attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah before attending the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle, Washington where he graduated in 1977. Upon graduation Dr. Meadows moved to Hillsboro and began serving the citizens of Washington County. Since 1978, the office has been remodeled and updated as the standards and practices of dentistry have changed. Dr. Meadows continues to challenge himself and keep up to date with the latest techniques and training through continuing education opportunities. In 2000, he became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry by completing 500 hours of continuing dental education and passing a comprehensive national examination. While working to meet the challenges of an ever changing and expanding field, Dr. Meadows gives his time and professional skills to fulfill local needs and aid humanitarian efforts outside the United States. He has trained and worked with dental students at the University of San Marcos Dental School in Lima, Peru as well as other humanitarian efforts in Peru, Nicaragua, and Guatemala. While living in Hillsboro, Dr. Meadows is an active member of the community and his church. He is the father of two daughters as well as a proud grandfather. His professional associations include the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Academy of LDS Dentist. He is also a member in good standing with the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
