Meet Dr. James Loskot"After 26 years as an eye doctor I still love hearing from patients “I didn’t know you could tell that from my eyes!”. So while patients may be coming for a new pair of glasses, it is my responsibility to assess the entire system for any potential signs of other conditions that they may not have previously been known to have. “Best care anywhere” is what I provide to my patients "Dr. James Loskot joined the Katzen Eye Group in 2018. He graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1993, where he earned the “Outstanding Clinician Award”. Dr. Loskot did his externship at the Katzen Eye Group and then went on to private practice, where he specialized in primary and medical based optometry.Dr. Loskot has over 25 years of experience. He has focused his career in primary optometry, the care of ocular diseases and surgical co-management. He is also certified in the Treatment of Dry Eye and in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease.
