As a former collegiate and professional baseball player, Dr. Barksdale found his passion for helping patients with foot and ankle injuries on the field. After his baseball career, he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Credential at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in New York City.When he's not caring for his patients, Dr. Barksdale enjoys spending time with his wife and their dogs, playing golf, rock climbing, and snowboarding.
