Dr Jaish Markos received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Markos is board certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Markos’ philosophy is that Pediatric Dentists have a profound effect on the lives of young children. As health professionals, Pediatric dentists, have one of the most important dental jobs – molding a future patient. A child may feel hesitant and afraid when thinking about their first visit to the dentist. As the first dentist a child encounters, pediatric practitioners can either ease their fears or enhance them. Dr. Markos takes this first encounter as well as the visits that follow with the utmost care and attention. He strives to make the experience enjoyable easing apprehension and making future visits something to look forward too.
Dr. Markos and his wife Jennie have two children, Shaina and Thomas. In his spare time, Dr. Markos enjoys horseback riding, fishing, and skiing. Â
