Dr. Ivan Soosaipillai completed his Undergraduate Pre-Medical studies at the prestigious American Schiller International University in London, England, where he won the %u201CSir Isaac Newton Award%u201D for his excellence in Science. He then completed his medical school at St. Georges University School of Medicine in Grenada from where he graduated in June of 2001. His Postgraduate training in Internal Medicine, followed by Fellowship in Infectious Diseases was done at the Seton Hall University, New Jersey. Dr. Ivan has been in private practice in Ocala since 2006 and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He is also a member of the %u2018Infectious Disease Society of America%u2019 and the %u2018American College of Physicians%u2019. He is credentialed and a member of the infection control committee at all of the Ocala hospitals which include: MRMC, ORMC, WMCH and Kindred Hospital. In addition, Dr. Ivan is also a chair member of the %u2018Pharmacy & Therapeutic (PNT) Committee%u2019 at ORMC, WMCH and Kindred.
