Ira G. Knepp, MD BOARD CERTIFIED GASTROENTEROLOGIST Dr. Knepp earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va., and completed his undergraduate studies at Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown, Va., and Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Dr. Knepp completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the National Navy Hospital in Bethesda, Md. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth and an internship in Family Practice at Union University, Albany Medical Center, in Albany, N.Y.
