Brief Intro

Dr. Harmony Brown is a WV native who grew up in Spring Dale, WV. She attended West Virginia University and received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. After completing medical school at Marshall University, Dr. Brown did her pediatric residency at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY. She then joined the faculty at the University of Louisville in the Department of Pediatrics where she was an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Hospital medicine for two years before moving back to WV with her family. She joined South Charleston Pediatrics in September 2009. Dr. Brown is board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her special interests include asthma, respiratory disorders and managing children with chronic medical conditions. She and her husband, Aaron, have two children, Tyler and Jacob and they enjoy spending time with family and outdoor activities.
