Dr. Mortazavi focuses on his patients' specific neurologic needs, specializing in Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, seizures, migraine headaches, stroke and Parkinson's disease. He recently relocated from Tennessee to establish his neurology practice in Arizona.
A native of Iran, he attended medical school at the Kermanshah University of Medical Science. Dr. Mortazavi moved to the United States to complete his internal medicine internship and neurology residency at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. He is the recipient of the M. Caroline Duncan Award from the Southern Pediatric Neurology Society and is affiliated with the American Academy of Neurology and the Tennessee Medical Society. Dr Mortazavi is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
