Dr. Cobbs was the founder and president of the Genesis Food Pantry, Inc. (This organization helped to feed families in the Washington, DC metro area). She has also performed missions work in South Africa and in Haiti. She has always been active with the Every Nation Churches: Grace Covenant Church in Chantilly, Virginia and now with RISE Community Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. During her career, she has also worked with Crisis Pregnancy organizations: Birthmothers and Assist Pregnancy Center.
