Dr. Gudmundsson received his medical education from University of Iceland and his residency and fellowship in internal medicine from the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, IA and in cardiology from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, in Maywood, IL. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases.
