Glen Tinkoff, M.D., FACS, received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Williams College, Williamstown, Mass., and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine, with honors in surgery and pathology. His general surgical residencies were at Lankenau Hospital and the Medical College of Pennsylvania, both in Philadelphia. His fellowship in trauma research was at Lehigh Valley Hospital, and his fellowship in surgical critical care was at the University Hospital of the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Dr. Tinkoff is an assistant professor of surgery at Thomas Jefferson University and an adjunct assistant professor of surgery at the Medical College of Pennsylvania's Hahnemann School of Medicine, both in Philadelphia.
He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and president of the Delaware Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. His special interests include re-operative surgery, surgical endoscopy and surgical nutritional support.
